Hi All,
I just got this windmill palm from home depot. It is in a 5 gallon pot It has 13 inches of trunk.
stands a little over 3 feet tall, and the trunk diameter is 7 inches. I paid 79.00 for it. I hope it was a good deal. this one was 3 times the size of the other ones.Made my day:)
I also am having some winter blues with some of my windmill palms. The leaves are yellow(spear is green). Gave it some rite green palm fertilizer 7-3-7a few weeks back didnt seem to do much could anyone offer any suggestions. Thanks Tom

Pardon me, but is that a windmill? (old eyes...)
Looks good to me.Could it have been too cold to fertilize?

Sounds like you paid Canadian (high) prices.
But it is a nice one.

Welcome Tomj.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

Tomj welcome to the forum. For greening up Trachy`s try epsom salts "magnesium sulfate"available at any drug store. Use 1 tbl spoon for 1 gal water. I find if you add it to hot water before putting it in 1 gal it will dissolve better. Do this in early spring them mid summer and once more near end of summer. You might want to stop any fertilizing regiment for a week or so not to add to much nutrients that the plant won`t be able to absorb and end up burning your fronds on your palm.
