She is right absolutely! I love this city too. It's like of a piece of Europe in North America.

Oh, Barb... The Orthodox Church is located at the middle of the public park... There are only a few of one hundred yeas old buildings in Almaty since the city was heavily destroyed after catastrophic Keminskoe earthquake (7.7 magnitude) in 1911. The Cathedral was built in 1907 though...

And happy to be in a good home, I bet.
Bet that hydrangea was lovely this summer.
I wanted a laceleaf hydrangea but the nursery had sold out.
There's NOTHING as pretty as sunshine on snow... 😀

Im agree, but Québec city is more beautifull and with the lower city, its really looks like an medieval town.... but both don t have the mountains you have as background 😉 ...
