Have seen such nice pics here of date palms, just had to have this Pigmy.
Heard they like a lot of water (but not standing in it).

You're right Barb ... thay also enjoy fresh circulating air and a misting every so often too. Mites and scale are a problem if not checked regularly. A healthy specimen there!

I'll mist daily...gives me a chance to have a good look at each of them to see how they're doing.

Have it facing east. I'm thrilled these don't need a south window...that one is getting crowded.
