Heres a picture I took today of my Christmas Palm and an unknown "tropical foilage". Bought the tropical
foilage at HD this week. It has great color and markings.

Is that the one you bought in K.C.?
If so where was that and is there anyway you can tell me when they get more in???
Wes, I bought the Christmas Palm at Sunrise Garden Center in Lawrence Ks in June 2007. The place is a few blocks east of the 15th and Massachusetts. They sometimes have a decent selection of palms. I think I paid $40 for this palm.

I tried to get myself one of the gingers but the lady sent me a small cutting and it died. If you ever have any, mail me some please! 😀
Thanks for the compliments...

True, that's a variegated ginger. Lowes had some marked down recently and I passed them up. I kick myself for not taking the oppourtunity to get one. Taylor, I know what you mean man. I've done some trades in the past just to find out that the plants didn't live.
I really like the Christmas Palm, oppalm. 8) I have some little ones. I hope when they get bigger they look that nice.

thanks for the nice comments. I have several smaller adonidia merrilli (christmas palms) but this is my first one with some height. I'd buy another one tomorrow if I could find one.
