A winter picture of a nice Washingtonia- in Seattle.

This was taken this week, after our cold spell. It will show a little more damage in the spring, but it continues to grow. Check out the surrounding palms in the backgroundlike the Phoenix fakenuoutis, it is hardy down to zone 1, although a very slow grower.

For scale, my son is a little over 4 feet tall.
