Amazing palms and pics Jim. Those Bismarkia give me goose bumps, I want one. 😀

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Those bismarkia's were awesome Jim, I know where there are some HUGE ones in Ormond Beach on the halifax river in Fla. I need to take more pictures next time I'm down there. Here are a few of my favorites. Number 1 Cuban Royals, they are so classy and stately in the right setting here's 3 pictures from Mckee Gardens in Vero Beach Fla. AMAZING PLACE! Number 2 tall sabal palmettos as far as the eye can see surrounded by tropical foliage. I have other pictures from some really tropical places but these are my favorites. It's funny when I was visiting the gardens I actually met the daughter of the gentlemen who originally built the place, she gave us some wonderful facts while walking around.

Fabulous!

I'm no expert, Jim but almost certain that the last pic in your links is a Copernicia (probably not hospita though, which I've looked at--drooled over--for years).

Bill, great to have heard the background from a family member of the founder. Thank goodness 18 acres were saved.
Imagine the original garden's attendance and popularity losing out to "theme parks"! Glad you took that pic of the explanation.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
