Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Man, there is some nice yuccas in Idaho.
That is my next species of yucca that I want to get. How fast does this one trunk?

That is sweet. I haven't seen that one before. Looks like the ones I found along Main St. in Boise that I posted a few months back. This one almost looks like a fat Cordyline, imho. Makes me want to grow one.
BTW, while I am out taking pics of Boise area palms, etc. I will take a pic of a fairly large Yucca on Overland Rd. in Boise for identification. I think it is either Y. elata or Y. brevifolia but am not sure (I don't know Yuccas that well anyway).
Who wouldn't want free pie and chips?
That's a sweet looking Rostrata Aaron. 😀
I can't what to see those pics Dave 😀
Here is a another rostrata pic from Twin-Falls Idaho "Plant-Asia-Cactus-Gardens"

Nice! That's a fine looking rostrata. 🙂
nice find. The Y. rostrata must have bloomed since it has two heads now. Very cool.
I've never heard of a Y. rostrata blooming so far north (unless it's newly planted or replanted). The most north blooming specimen I recall is a very tall one in Fairfax, VA. Do you know when that Y. rostrata was planted?....and when it bloomed? I've had Y. rostratas in my yard since 2002 and none have ever bloomed.

Tim,
I don't know when it was planted. The first pic I think was back in 2006. I do know that I have seen them in bloom a few times in Twin-Falls at Plantasia-Cactus Gardens. 😀

Wonder why some trunk at 4 feet, and some at twice that.

Bird damage?
