You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Your first pic of your elata, that one is a beauty. I have one in the ground for the last two years but it does not look as good as that one.

It is a beauty. It's leaves will spread out more as it spends more time out of the wrapping that I brought it home in.
