Hi Aaron,not sure what damages the baccata but it's likely the same as what effects the harrimaniaes and angustissimas........those dislike my climate...

Update...........Aloe ecklonis's outer leaves were fried last week while other Aloes were not............not good for A. ecklonis. I may dig them up....
