Wow! Ok, that borders on a miracle. But, really, needle palm are amazingly leaf hardy. I don't know why more people don't grow them.
A couple waggies, dug up and moved from Oklahoma in 2013. They came through last winter's record cold just fine, of course. And pushing spears now!

Jim, yes, was back in OK all winter, caring for W with health problems. Will get back to palms in OR in April, May in Costa Rica, Belize in June. Then...
:-)Warm down here in OK, too. Most potted palms are out, and starting to grow. Out in Oregon, never had a freeze all winter!
