They look great! At my Oregon place, all easy. In Oklahoma, most of those do fine. I have lost Aucuba before when not protected.

Dawn redwoods and bald cypress do fine where I live.Good to know! So, Manistee, Traverse City, etc. should be fine.

I grew a dawn redwood in Oklahoma a decade ago. It suffered growing tip damage in a cold winter, so I suspect that would happen annually in Michigan. ...

Been crazy warm so far. The Tulsa area has barely hit the upper 40s' we usually have a freeze by now. Manzanita, Oregon hasn't been below 50 oF yet. ...
