I doubt that Cordys can actually handle temps down to 0F. Probably this is similar to how Musa basjoo can survive in cold climates despite being frost...
Ok. This is crazy. jesse you're showing 21F right now, and it is 26C here right now. Wow.
History indicates that anything below -10C is deadly for Cordyline... At least from what I've seen and heard.
Barb- No palm can survive here unprotected (well, needles in Niagara region)...
No luck here either. All the ridgida I've tried (not to mention rostrata, thompsoniana, etc.) have died in their first winter here.
Cam- Not only that but the selection is less here AND we're at the mercy of the West Coast where hardiness is not generally an issue...
