When they are smaller that happensbut as they get larger it wont be asmuch of an issue,mine could get ratherspotty as infants as I recall :D Remember...

are you going to protect the larger trachys? Maybe you could get by with just wrapping them in Christmas lights and putting rose cone over the spear ...
