Our seed grown giant sequioa. Eight years old in ground for five.
Aug 31 2012 Was 31" tall:

Im glad kids dont grow as fast..... Would be nice to live as long though

Wicked tree. I had a few seedlings that killed off on me... oh well... try try again

When the top on these trees stretches out like that they are in full blast off mode.
Mine grew 4' without much rainfall at all,I bet you if we had a wet year 60+" rainfall
like we had a few years ago mine would grow 6-8' in one year.
Yours will at least double next year if that leader stays intact!
