I jsut got this ginger. I found it lying on the ground at the local conservatory, and it happened to fall into my pocket ( in all karmadic respect, they are getting 2 pots of dypsis arenarum, and lanceolata, very rare palms 😈
Even if you have the genus name, that would be helpful, it idt liik taller then a foot.

I might be mistaken, but it looks more like a Marantha....
I guess the ginger leaf would be a bit more elongated, but I might be mistaken....

Robert, you were right, LOL its Maranta, or arrowroot plant. It was labeled as a ginger.
