Our Japanese timber bamboo is sending out lateral shoots like crazy. two weeks ago I tugged out 18 shoots (they try to go DOWN to bury themselves). Yesterday, I dug all around the plant to find another seven shoots that DID reach under into our grass and one under our patio slab. All of these seven are very well rooted, and up to two feet long. They are available for anyone who wants them.. but I know I cannot ship any bamboo to the USA. Also if anyone wants some that are going to Ryans this sunday, I can bring them then. I also have plenty of yucca glauca and osage orange seedlings, oh and loquat seedlings.

Here is our Phyllostachys bambusoides (Behind the blue hesper palm)

Thanks Adam but no thanks 😆 😆
People on the Coast have grown it with a sheet metal "cage" buried around the roots to keep it contained.
Didn't work; others recommend a 45 gal plastic barrel as a pot, kept aboveground.
Yours will come up in Halifax next...

Love your Brahea armata.

Adam, This is the one that Clint (Nfalls) had to remove since it took over everything! Looks happy at your place, I've never seen so many rhizomes!
