Here are a couple of my Pachys. The first was bought as a P. saundersii. Not sure if thats what it really is. But I like the way it grows. 
This guy is a P. lamerei "crested". Seems like a fitting name.

Completely different form from mine (growing straight up, no branching yet).

And that "crested" one...wow, very unusual.
