One of my Phals. decided to bloom, Sorry about the picture quality....

I use these as an excuse to my wife as to why the greenhouse has to be heated to 60F during the Winter 😆

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Actually suprised it is still alive, Greenhouse temps have been at least 110F all week.
Not really into "flowers", but always worth a try if I can get it off the bargain rack for a buck or two.....

Wes North Van ~ Thanks for your reply on the other post, Let me know if your ever in Cental Kansas.
Will load you up with some Souveneirs 😆

Wes;
I've never seen the Vancouver orchids. Are they small flowered( less than an inch across)?

When we went to the north west coast in 2002, We saw a native orchid in the Sitka Spruce 'garden' at Kitimat. It was labelled but I can't remember it's name. It had thumbnail sized white and mauve flowers. there were lots of them on the plant.

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps
