This plant germinated sometime in august. Its either a musella or musa velutina. Im 90% sure its a musella, based on how the leaves appear....
It was doing good, untill december, when it stopped growing. Thinking it was dormant, i slowed down the water, but never letting the pot become completely dry. It hasnt pushed out any new growth since december, ad now the leaves are starting to streak yellowish. I had something similar happen to one last year, where it went down hill, and never cameback.
It was in a south facing window, so i moved it underneeth my aerogarden lights, where they get 12 -17 hours of light a day. Can you guys tell whats up with it??
Also, some pics of my winer project..... and my amazingly fast growing almond seedling ( 4 more leaves in a week!!!!!!)

nice high tech planting going on there! Not sure about your Musellas.........My bananas in my garage look like crap but hopefully will survive another winter. I recommend you construct a greenhouse outside and heat it to 25C and keep all your plants in there! LOL......If I had a greenhouse I would never be in the house!

LOL ya i wouldnt either........ especialy days like today ( new low for the year at -30c)....
It woudl make many many things alot easier......... Then again, the price of gas here, id be living in the green house, while the house itself would be unheated for the winter :S LOL

-30C..................BRRRRRRRRR! Keep that stuff away!! I just buried a few plants in snow today since I'm worried about a few of them and we are only going to drop to -20C (tropics compared to you!).

My friend in derry NH, is gettin -24C, -28C and -26C respectivly... it might not be that cold there, but its on the way..
