These sat in a corner all Winter and had about a 1/2" of dust on them 😀
Re-potted, cleaned off and ready for a new season.

They are looking good.
Did you start any of them from seed?
Allen
You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps
Steve, I pot planted mine outside last week. Then came those two days of sustained 40-50 MPH winds (not gusts, but sustained) and they lost a few leaves. But they have LOVED it so far. Sure you know this, but give them lots of water with this new Sun and within 2 days you will have lots of leaves.
Nice!
What do you think the max height will be with proper care?
Probably the GH roof?? 😆
My new Pachy hasn't grown an inch this winter in the sunny south window.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
Set yours outside once temps start to get above 70's (and maybe bring them inside if lows are below 50's) and water really well. You will be able to visably see new growth in a week.
Thanks for the tip.
This waiting for warm weather is affecting their development.

Barb,
Not sure on the max. height, seem to grow about 1' - 2' a year on average.
If I can get them to bloom, they might start branching.
Allen,
Those originally were small ones from the discount plant rack at WalMart 😀
Have some Pachypodium geayi started from seed a couple years ago, they are just starting to pick up speed.

Thanks Steve.
I just germinated 2 P. Geayi and was wondering how long it would be before they showed a little size.

Steve, are the two Geayi you gave me from seed? WOW, if so we have done good as they are REALLY starting to put on some growth after I potted them up a size.
Wes,
Those P.geayi are from the same batch, full sun & water and they will take off 8)

I saw lots of them outside in Orlando. All look in fantastic shape.

Nice start Steve.
My Pachy doesn't seem to be doing much this year since I planted it in the ground.
Weather is either cool or blazing hot, it's sulking a bit.
Hoping for a growth spurt soon.
Yours looks very healthy.

Mine are absolutely BOOMING. I am at work right now, but will try to remember to take a pic later. I put them out front where they get solid morning sun up until about 2:00pm.
Lucky, as soon as you start hitting days with high 70's low 80's for highs and 60's for lows, WATCH OUT.
Will look forward to that.
