Anyone interested in some free (yes free) bamboo? I find these take too much water for my liking as I'm planting more drought tolerant plants these days.
If you're on Vancouver Island and are interest in any of these ... PM me.

Phyllostachys atrovaginata
Ph. nigra 'Bory'
Ph. nuda
Ph. vivax
Ph. humilis
Ph. meyeri
Plieoblastus chino vaginata variegata

There may be one or two others I've forgotten.

Barrie, I would be interested in some Ph. nigra 'Bory' and Ph. nuda. I know you offer them for free, but I will give you seeds or plants in return. Let me know. Thank you, Ryan 😀

Wes ... I want nothing in return for any bamboo you want. It only means another plant to care for and as you've seen, I have plenty already.

Ryan ... Anytime you're around the Nanaimo / Lantzville area on Vancouver Island, you're welcome to any of the bamboo you want.

Also I have Pseudosasa japonica, Yushania anceps, Phyllostachys edulis and Semiarundinaria fastuosa 'Viridis'.
