It's doing everything at once.
Blooming, green young fruit, and one ripe fruit!

Is this wild or what?
I live for this fragrance! 😀

Lucky that is one healthy looking orange tree.
How does the fruit taste?

Wes - Great in Corona's 😉 Cals will hold their fruit for a very long time. It is very common to have ripe fruit, small developing fruit & flower buds at the same time. I have a Cal in my yard grafted to Swingle that is about 12 ft tall now. I'll take some pics when it loads up with fruit again.

OK so it's not confused. It's really cool to have everything happening at once on this tree...er...little bush.

12 feet tall Laaz...wow, I'm livin' in dwarf land compared to you folks and YOUR plants.

Wes, have been very unselfish and gave my husband the first Cal to "ripen". 😉
He screwed up his face so grotesquely that I gathered it was pretty sour. Hence the other one is still on the tree 😆

Corona...man, it'd break the bottle!

If fruit is sour, can I do anything...other than leaving it on the tree longer?

Cheers.

Cal's are sour no matter how long you leave them on the tree. They make great wine. A friend of mine on my forum made Cal wine & sent a bunch of bottles to other members. It was very good quality & great taste. If I ever get the time I may try my hand at making citrus wine...

A yummy solution...thanks.
Bet it has a wonderful aroma, too
You'll have lots of oranges for your wine!
