Hi Solomon, welcome to the forum!

Interesting link, especially from Madagascar, where so many stunningly beautiful palms are threatened/endangered, or now extinct.

Have you pics of your palms to post, so we can all drool over them?

Looks like Corypha umbraculifera. Being seen on Google Earth? ... well it's possible. My greenhouse is visible and it's 20' wide x 50' long and Corypha have leaves 20' wide on 10' petioles.
