First things first. Here is a reminder of what the yard looked like in april 2011

Here are some pics of today:

Alocacia citrus, and to the left in the ground is a jostaberry

John Pear (no partridge though)

Honeygold apple and patio plants

Pear seedling, Blueberry and Mandarin lights azalea. Hopefully the Passiflora incarnata comes back....

Seedling Fargesia (borinda) Yunannensis didnt like to be inside for the winter

Back section

Some potted palms and Helikkii Rhodo

Theres about 25 species in this one pic...

Everyone should have royal ferns

Agave utahensis var utahensis

Tomato bed.. See if you can spot the little Eucaluptus

Mini water garden made from a 60 yr old wash basin. The lotus I grew from seed this spring

Newly planted Basjoo needed a bit more time to acclimate. It will recover fast I think

Veiw from the gate

Hosta sum and substance had a massive upsize this year! this is only 4rth leaf

Fargesia rufa had a bit of a rough winter on one side. All those tall canes are from last fall. This years shoots are about 5 inches tall and you cant see them yet. All the damage will be covered within 3 weeks...

The 40 foot ash tree, that shades the front

Thanks for looking!

Hey, Jesse! Looks much nicer than in April 2011! Like your "sub-polar" attempts very much! Keep going and keep growing!
