Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Cool. 8) Cruisers are my favorite. I could never really find one at a reasonable price. They hold their value. My previous yota was an 82 4x4 short box. I ended up stuffing a chevy 350 small block into it. 😀 Sold it to a buddy and now regret it. 🙁 I wanted the 4runner so I could take my kids on the trails. 🙂
Beer...I thought I heard someone call 😀
My fav beer is 1516 from Okanagan Spring Brewery right in downtown Vernon, North Okanagan.
My fav thing is the ever-elusive search for a fossil...of anything!
Late winter and early Fall will find me and the dog in the hills, with camera, pokin' around at rocks ' stuff
on the ground.
Good way to get a branch-poke...always looking down 😆
At dinner, husband will notice a scratch on my forehead and say "I see you've been looking for fossils again."
Or digging up Fir seedlings from road easements, pop 'em into plant pots, take them home,
and then spend a week figuring out where I'll plant them.
RETIREMENT is the best...I don't know how I ever found TIME to go to work!
When I hear that some people find retirement boring...I'm amazed!
There still aren't enough hours in the day for me! 😉

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
I guess this is a kinda "let us know more about yourself" thread. How cool and wonder why this never came up earlier???
I played Football up until I graduated and had many offers, the main one was to play for D-II (at the time it was D-II) Powerhouse Pitt St. who at that time was the "Florida Gators" or "LSU Tigers" of D-II. A man by the name of Dennis Franchione visited my mom and dad and I many times 🙂 HOWEVER, I HATED school so much and I was so in love with this girl, that I decided NOT to play College Football and instead get a job and stay in Topeka with the girl 👿
Pitt St went on to play in 2 straight National Title games, winning one of them, in what would have been my 4 years there 👿 👿 👿
However I DID marry the girl and now have been married to her for 14 years and have 2 sons, so I guess things worked out.
But I did stay close to the game, coaching for over 20 years after graduating and stopping just three years ago so I can/could watch my first son play.
I did pick up playing again, althou I am now 36, being a member of the "Scout" team for a local Semi Pro team in Topeka called the "Topeka Savage". But after about 2 months of that, I tore the ACL, & Meniscus & stretched the MCL to the point of "fraying", so I just had surgery December 17th and am recovering from that as I write this.
So now when I am not dreaming of Palms, I am dreaming of living in Florida or somewhere down south and living the normal life.
I love every day that I am here, my life is a hobby
Aaron, I see a new bumper sticker business in your future. Words to live by.
Jay, I have a 2003 Ford Exploder you can have to work on. I already replaced the front end and transmission. All before 60,000miles. Now the rear end is going out and I am looking for a very deep lake to park it in. 😈
Barb, the fossil hunting sounds fun. The kids and I like to look for arrowheads in the spring after the farmers till their fields. The skill it took to create a good spear point is unreal.
Kansas, hope you have a good and speedy recovery. It took me about a year and some painful scar tissue stretching to get my ACL back to normal. Don't wish that on anyone.
