All the findings have been in fairly close proximity to where I live (relatively speaking). Law inforcement is saying nothing and speculations abound. It is the talk around the water cooler in many job sites.

Additionally ... My wife just informed me that yet another (sixth) foot in a sneaker was found today in Campbell River here on Vancouver Island. As of this moment I have no confirmed reports. The mystery deepens.

I've heard that this sixth foot found in Campbell River was in fact a hoax. That's the latest through the rumor mill here.

The police admit it's the strangest "challenge" in recent memory.
Water cooler talk seems to center around execution style slayings, which are apparently common in the illegal drug biz.
Gruesome and unsettling.
