We were having threats of forest fire. Lake supirior is down 50 feet here ( eye witness guess).

This cup is in the open, not near any donw spots wires branches or anything. ITs a large A n W mug.

That's a lot of rain for your area! That being said, try living in NS 😡

Well its generaly wet here. ITs extremely rare to have any sort of drought for an extended period of time, altough it gets dry enough for forest fires every few years ( which is why this is such a relief ATM)

Rain doesnt bother me as much as just cloudy and snowy -30C . Im not to suprised about the rain. We get downpours liek that a few times a year, just few and far between since the last one. But then again, nothing like your 3 week epic saga of a rain fall.

Vancouver hasnt been fairing too well either. Not their typical dry sunny spring. All the way from toronto to NS are being soaked. It skips my area, and then southern sask/manitoba is soaked.

Not a bad spring though. LAst year was dry for the whole country

I cant call it a drought. ITs very very uncommon to have drought here. ID have to say its a drying trend becasue this goes back quite a few years. Also, the lake apperantly goes through high, and low points every few decades. The last low point was in the 80s ( just before I was born), and the last high was 15 years or so ago.

Cant be that bad when my grass is super green and lush, with no watering from me!

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Most of the area here is bog/forest feilds or lakes/rivers. Theres been some flooding in the country, and some isolated places in the city before, but as far as im aware, theres never been a huge flood here. Even after the historical 14 foot snowfall ( year total) in the 70s. I have to guess that theres too many places for the water to go.
