I live in Zagreb/Sesvete, Croatia zone 7b. I've been reading posts on forum for about a year and am finally introducing myself. For now i have outdoor: T. fortunei, T. wagnerianus, S. minor, R. hystrix, B. odorata (ex. capitata), C. humilis, C. humilis var. cerifera, B. armata (first year in ground), Nannorrhops ritchiana 'green form' (seedling for experiment, first year in ground). Yuccas: Y. gloriosa, Y. gloriosa var. variegata, Y. recurvifolia, Y. filamentosa/flaccida complex, Y. baccata (seedlings, first year in ground), Y. carnerosana (seedlings, first year in ground), Y. thompsoniana (seedlings, first year in ground), Y. elata, Y. aloifolia (only one small survived last winter). Bananas: M. basjoo. Cactus: Opuntia sp. (phaecantha, humifusa, fragilis). All my palms was protected during the winter months with passive protection (leaves, heavy mulching, rain/snow protection for Butia) without artificial heating. I usually protect it from end November mid-December to end-February.
