Hi I'm Stephen and I live in western England by Liverpool in equivalent zone 9a. The average absolute minimum temperature in winter is usually around -2C, although this year we had a particularly harsh winter and got -5C. UK is famous for its cool and wet summers, and here it's no different although we do have some of the best weather in the UK summer and winter. Unfortunately at the moment that's not the case as its cool and rainy! 🙁
I joined this forum because I'm interested to see what our friends across the pond grow, and I know how variable the U.S climate is, so I'm looking forward to posting on here and to see what you guys grow!

Barb, My garden is actually very small I just cram everthing in as at the moment everything is quite young/small but it just gets shoved in, in every available space, but much of the stuff isn't completely hardy so some has to be protected in winter but I find if I protected all winter it would probably cause a lot of unwanted rot, so I tend to only protect when it needs it.
