Dear all members,
My name is Jean-Michel. I am from south east of France and grown exotic plants 2 miles from the sea. The local climate is mediterranean and know to be 9A/9B. But in the past cold waves with temperatures down to 10/12 °F has been report.
So I am growing palms sp. cold proof like Washingtonia, Jubeae, Tarchycarpus, Brahea, Sabal,...
I would like to grown some "tropical" one and use frost protection. I rescently found 2 nice Archontophoenix and I would like to try it outside and cover its during our 2/3 months winter.
So I have a lot to learn from you!
Thank you!
Jean-Michel
Hello Jean-Michel, a big welcome to Palms North!
A 9A/9B zone is so exciting!
You're a Palms South! 😆
We love to see photos of everyone's palms and succulents.
Looking forward to getting to know you.
And yes, we are all going to be so envious of your zone. 😡 😡 😀
