SCott, thats a really nice chamedorea... Watch out for that family, there are hundreds of species in that genus, all are gorgeous and easy to grow. And the variation will make your head spin 😯

The latest..........nothing beats a greeting home like a box of palms on the porch. All of these are from Jungle Music..
Chamaedorea Ernesti-Augustii (smallest seedling)
Pritchardia Glabrata (seedling)
Pritchardia Hildebrandtii Dwarf Blue 5 gallon
Saw on todays blog 4/30 some BIG Pritchardia's on sale for $55 (5 gallon) that he acquired when he bought out another nursery. (yes I ordered "one more" after promising the wife I'd be DONE for a while) can't pass up a nice big Pritchardia like those.....

They did not ask. They were more interested in cigarettes and booze. Good to know next time if they ask; houseplants because who in the right mind would grow palms outside in Canada?
To be honest they grow so slow that they can be house plants for a long time.

Glad your guys are a bit more lenient.
Seems the BC border constabulary consistently frown upon "soil" coming in, whether in a houseplant or something that might actually survive outdoors here. 😆
Yup, booze and cigs are a big issue here too.
If Canadian booze etc prices were as low as that in the US, there'd be no problem at all.
But because we pay 300% more for booze... 👿
It'll be good to watch how those Sabals do at your place.
They're a good size and should grow well this summer for you.

I guess its a give and take we charge you 300% for the booze and you charge us 300% for the pot :lol:..in all seriousness why are the booze so high. Even crown royal, canadian made and imported isnt very high but everything that goes over your way get an instant mark up.
