It's only been 7 months since they were outside 👿

Trip One:
<a href=" http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/7153988063/" title="021 by edible_plum, on Flickr"><img src=" " width="640" height="480" alt="021"></a>

Trip Two:
<a href=" http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/7153988079/" title="023 by edible_plum, on Flickr"><img src=" " width="480" height="640" alt="023"></a>

Then the weatherman said it's cooling off again in a few days.
To hell with it, they're staying outside!

Barb, I'm sure your plants will appreciate this! I had to make the same trips a couple of weeks ago, but it was a little too early. There was a hard freeze at -4 C, and a few nights of -2 C. I will be bringing everything back out again in a few days. The one benefit of those freezes is that they seemed to kill all of the fungus gnats!! 😆

I`ve been considering Naphalm... 😆
Bloody things fly up your nose while you`re eating dinner.

Cool stuff Barb!

Don't you hate it when the forecast changes after you move the stuff out?

Never fails

Yeah, murphy's law prevails everywhere 😆
if you want it to rain, wash your car.

Now that I can get a good look at the palms, notice scale AGAIN. 👿

1-800-naphalm.

Barb tropicals are looking good. Did you find a shady spot for them? I got sunburn on a couple of mine that I forgot about after hosing them down.

Yes, they're under a roof with only brief morning sun.

But the 2 or 3 year old Foxtail babies are sunburnt (shady spots are all taken).
Or maybe frozen.

Fortunately you've got that nice covered porch for your tropicals.
Everything must be taking off nicely with your sheltered spot near the lake.

I had to put rocks on top of small planters to keep them from blowing away in the winds 😆
Seems to work with keeping neighbourhood cats away too 😈
