Glad to get this guy outdoors after a long winter under the red/blue light thingy in the basement.

Cocos and CIDP are situated in an area that gets a lot of wind.
None of my other palms like high winds.
These two can handle it.

Great job overwintering it!!

Wow Barb that looks really good!
Looks like your pot is heavier than the plant- oh my back 🙂

Thanks guys!
Yup, Cameron, glad it made it through our long winter.
Paul, that pot--because of its "waist" shape--can never have a plant in it, so I just invert a bucket inside and plop a plant on top.
Brought that pot back from California years ago...tied with a seat belt. 😆 😆

that Cocos looks amazing--better then they look in habitat!

It is looking great, although it does not go with the conifers in the background. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Jubaea, agree with you.
But a landscape designer said "nice juxtaposition". 😆 😆 😆
If I had my way, all the conifers here would be palms.

My friends in Belize would love to grow Picea on the beach; a few even have a form of Thuja that can make it there. 😯
...and people in Florida would give their eye teeth for a Colorado Blue Spruce. 😆

Barb looks great. Is it in full sun or out in the open just for the pics. Just wondering if it has aclimatised yet to full sun? Burnt my Triangle palm a little because I didn`t give it more time before the sunburn.
