Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Awesome!
Yes, Brahea are super palms. The Bizzie looks with more cold tolerance.

Nice one Barb... is that the Brahea that you dunked in some toxic gunge? 😆 One of the spears on mine is opening and that's without heat 😀
Igor ...its not surprising to see Brahea Armata doing well in London there are plenty of CIDP planted out there and thriving and much bigger Washingtonia than the one in your pic 😀

yes it is Andy, and it has a twin that got the same treatment.
Remember I was warned NOT to even "disturb" the roots because it would sulk and not grow.
Well you saw what I did.
Took every ounce of soil off both of 'em.
And coming up gangbusters.

Thank God.

I looked at my brahea armata yesterday and it has grown in its enclosure. It will get uncovered in a week or so.

That's great news Adam.
Hard to know just how much heat to apply.
I've been wondering how your Brahea did this winter.
Maybe we can see a pic soon?

In the meantime, enjoy your spring.
Hope everything else did well too.
