I was looking for something to vent palm hut and thought this might be a good idea.
It opens if hut gets over 70 degrees and closes at 40.
Too warm??
Thoughts.
I might try this. Protecting 3 trachys this winter.
To add i manually vent my protection to keep temps cool on warm days in the winter.
I like that idea for sure but it would
get pricey here for me with so many to cover...
The temp range is fine...one thing I have done
is to wrap string around my enclosures and then
put in a piece of cardboard orientated so that the
winter sun is blocked during the "warmest"part of the
day,say between 11am/2pm,that way it doesn't get to
hot but you have the sun helping out at the times you need it.
