Hello, all. Well it's been a while since I've posted anything on here but I wanted to share the results of my PVC pipe experiment. It worked GREAT. In the bottom I used some "green moss" craft stuff, to hold the dirt in and I drilled a small horizontal hole and slid a toothpick in it to hold everything in. Enough time has passed that the toothpick is all but rotted away so I didn't even have to slide it back out I just pushed it up through with everything else when I removed the "plug". The plug slid out very easily and held together just fine. I just used a fat magic marker to push the plugs out. Worked great. Anyway, I hope everyone is well.

Patrick

Great! Any idea of the cost per foot of PVC pipe? This looks like a great way to save space, get good root development, and ease of transplant... Now if the price point is right it might be worth my time to try it!

I honestly dont remember what i payed for it. 2 or 3 bucks for 4 feet of 1" at Lowes. It will last forever though, and the space saving factor was incredible
