Aaron, Would probably work fine for reptiles, maybe with the addition of a better quality thermostat.
This article on DIY incubators gave me the idea for a seed propagator.

Bill, Right around $20.00, the fridge was $10.00, then I had to buy the ceramic bulb sockets & light bulbs 😆
(Already had the heater for parts, extra 4" duct work, etc.)

Thanks Steve! I think I'm going to do it, or something similar at least.
Bill
Congrats on a great video, Steve, for folks to see the process.
If they have the ability, just need to be shown once.
Your daughter's idea was the perfect finishing touch!

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
Hey Steve,
If seeds float are they no good?
Bill
Bill, That's true 95% of the time, (except for some species like Manicaria saccifera & Cocos nucifera which naturally float)
Give them at least 24 hours to sink, sometimes they can dry out and be revived with a soak, also, make sure there is no dried fruit left on the seeds. (that will also cause good seeds to float)

Everything is working out well so far. I added a peroxide solution to the Musa Velutina for the first to rinses to clean them up some, the others are fresh enough.
Thanks again,
Bill
Steve your the king of germinating seeds for sure. I can see a conservatory in the works in about three to four years at the rate of the new palms growing. LOL. Always great to see your new seedling projects.

John,
Thanks, I consider myself just a caretaker, it's the seeds and plants that do all the work. 😆
Bill,
Best of luck with them! Take some photos along the way, always nice to see what other people are growing.
