Three months ago I started the germination of 20 Butia x Jubaea, and 20 Jubaea x Butia seeds. Nothing to report at at this time but I believe once we get some steady sunshine things should start to happen. Apparently the seed is very fresh and shipped within a week of harvest. Looking forward to seeing these grow.

What do expect for growth rates of these two hybrids. With pure jubaea the rate is sooooo slow. and butia being fairly fast it will be interesting to see the differences.
