Holy Toledo, thought leaves would be SMALLER at 12,000 feet. 😯

And nice to finally see our own Hybrid Timalensis. 😆

You've got some great varieties in there Tim.
Good job popping them.

Bet you're digging up all the lawn this year to make room for them!

I didn't get anything started this winter...maybe next Fall.

I never imagined baby rhodies looking so damn cool....

ALso just a heads up with the bamboo seedling. You will be surprised at how much the roots take up in the pot for the size of the plant. If its been in that pot for a few months you may wanna think of up sizing the pot, even if you plan on planting it in the next two or three monthjs. I lost three pots of bamboo seedlings doing exactly that. You should also try to keep it as cool as possible while giving it the maximum amount of light. It relieves a bit of stress on the plant for the winter and ensures good growth over the growing season.. Ive read of some people noticing that planting seedlings that have grown over the winter taking a bit more time to settle. Id assume due to the energy of growing all winter without a "cool down",

Everything looks great tim

Too many to post now, but I've got a bunch of cactus and Yucca seedlings humming along, some Magnolias, Kalopanax, and too many rhodies to list... TIm, I see you have a brachy x (yak x rex) x rex pot of seedlings. Those could have some zone 4 winners with huge leaves... If they win the genetic lottery that is!

My problem is going to be finding space for everything! I've only got 2 acres!

Paul, looks like John sent you some Kalo seeds too? When I got them there was so much mould that it busted the bag open.... I was looking forward to this tree too, looked extremely promising for up here...

He did send some M seiboldii that germinated amazingly fast!

Hi Jesse

Thanks for the bamboo tip. I'll repot them up into larger containers. I hope that will do the trick.

Hi Paul

2 acres is a dream! I have a TON of Rhodo hybrids germing now too. I'll have to create a list of them. Some are just way too cool to imagine like R. 'Hardy Giant' x macabeanum. I hope some turn into beauties. Which ones are you trying?
