Going to soak for a few days, then pot them up.

that is exciting! It'll be wonderful to see them sprout and fronds emerge.
So beautiful.
The fish think their food is stale 😆 😆
Bet it won't take long for them to pop in hot weather. Keep us posted.

Truly amazing.
The large seeds are for the plants to disperse by way of ocean currents. Am I remembering correctly from what I've read?

They will float for a long time, it's been claimed that viable coconuts have washed up on Norway's beaches 🙂

great job. so how long before you have coconuts in central Kansas ?

First leaf starting to emerge,
(Too cold in the GH for germination now, loaded four of them into the propagator to speed things up)

Still moving along. This is a tough one, temps at night have been in the 50's, and barely into the 60's during the day for the last week or two.
