Excellent document from floridaplants worth reviewing every year, especially for tropical palms that are finicky:

It ticks me off though that some deficiencies masquerade as something else.
And of course you can throw that list away if the pH is off too. 😐
AAAARGH!

This is the best I've seen...recommend Bookmarking this for reference:

Now we'll have no excuse at all...

I suppose we should now list WATER as a nutrient!

This Triangle Palm spear simply wouldn't open after lengthening for nearly SIX months 😯

<img src=" " width="375" height="500" alt="DSC04412" />

After leaching all the palms in the bathtub to dilute toxic fertilizer levels (thanks Steve07), it pushed out really fast.

<img src=" " width="375" height="500" alt="DSC04442" />

I've since discovered that one of the first symptoms of fertilizer toxicity is a slight "dimpling" or "bubbling" of petiole segments, usually at the tips.
This year old Wodyetia bifurcata shows it mid-leaf.
Needs increased watering to flush out the fertilizer.

Does this learning process ever end? :shaking2:
