These are probably not "multi-Pinnata " , but are most likely "Deboensis" which is more common and should be less expensive. Bob
I live on 12 acres in Central Florida about half way between Tampa and Walt Disney World.I have seed colonies of over 60 varieties of cycads. I have over one half acre of variegated cycads and I make many hybrids as well.
hmmm...Importing CITES listed seed from China 😆
Anyways, a bit out of my budget, ( I think the most I've spent on any single seed is $5, and it took me a week to justify that to my wife 😀
As Mr. Chumley pointed out, Cycas debaoensis has started to drop in price and availability is picking up.

Says they are in New York... You are right expensive. Thats why when the seeds are that much I would rather get the already sprouted plant (Not risking bad seed).
You are right about the location, guess I wasn't paying attention 😀
If it is good seed, price may not be too far off. Prices of some of the harder to find stuff just keeps going up, the last time I saw Microcycas calocoma seeds at auction, they were over $20.00 each !
