So beautiful in white hair (ha ha)
Is that two plants in the pot? or is the second growing from a pup?

I know, with this coolness we are getting, it's hard to see much growth in the Cycads. However, looking at the 7 day forecast, looks like GOOOOOD 90's. So with this rain + 90's, we should get REALLLLLLY good growth next week.
So keep us updated on your tropical yard. BTW, I still would love to come by and see your yard. Just have not gotten the word from work to go to Wichita in a while.

Yeah, not looking for all the mugginess with those 90* temps,as I weld for a living wearing leather all day!!!LOL
And the mosquitoes will be out in the billions!!!!!
I have never gone this long ever without a flush from my sago in the 6 yrs I have had it.
But then again disturbing the roots somewhat, when I planted it in the ground, might have a part in why it's not flushing.

Barb, That is a single plant ( these tend to develop multiple growing points as they get older, not sure if these develop pups? )

Don, After all this rain and temps near 90* next week, your yard is really going to take off 8)

Neato, Steve, look at the thickness of those new stems 😯
Looks like an excellent germination rate.
Your pics are great--the new frond resembles a toothbrush.
The floridana sprouting fronds AND a pup is very cool.

Don your sago is just getting settled in...will love the heat and humidity in its new location.
