A Little Root Pruning

Since my hoist is still at the original site I had to use my house to get Sago #1 off my truck

about 5$ worth of scrap wood I threw together

All I had was shells from my driveway

Silt/sugar sand, i usually like to wash all the clay out of it but it was 10pm and was tired as hell

Palm #2, Much easier/smaller.

Loaded with all tools

I use to have a 95 f-450 with a powerstroke and 2001 gmc top kick to haul my t-300 bobcat but the economy claimed all those in 2007. Would like to get those things again little by little

They may have had an older model truck back then-only 1 horsepower 😯

Economy bad here, too--lost the truck and farm. Have the 1 horsepower "truck" out in a pasture, though!
He never nibbled my sago palms, smart thing.
I'll have a diesel truck (Chevy k2500, '02) soon as my tax refund hits. Then I can haul some big plants! 😆

Hey Vinny...Saw you on the bananas.org forum too. Your place is real nice. Love N'awlins....Love sagos too. I cut a hunk of offshoot last year on my large one. It is still alive but hasn't grown much...anyone know how long it takes for the "pups" to start to grow once they are cut from the mother plant?

I have had some that I rooted that took a year or so to finally flush out some new leaves. Do you know if it has rooted?
