I'm probably wrong, but revoluta and spinulosum are stunning next to each other.
Also like the camera shooting from the bottom, and the third from the top.
You must've been hanging from the rafters for that last shot. 😆
Looks like 11 fronds? You're right (AGAIN) about odd number of fronds.
Man that's a lot for one plant to put out at a time.

Here's the plant all those leaves are from.
I've just sort of let everthing grow together this year.......... 😆

I can imagine how lovely and fresh the air is in the GH.
Everything looks so healthy and the humidity must be like Hawaii!
That floridana has so many new stems, they look like fireplace matches stuck in a base!!!! well done.
Your plants have put on a lot of growth.
They're definitely thriving. I'd spend hours each day puttering around in a GH. Heaven! 8)

That is a GREAT looking tree. You should be very very proud of that!!!!
Ha ha, thanks, Wes, it'll be a while till any of 'em are a tree...but I am still thrilled with these babies.
We cycad lovers are all a little crazy... 😆 but it's a nice passion.

Great looking cycads. Did you get all of yours from Lori?
Steve,
Your greenhouse looks amazing.

Wes, yes, I got them all from Lori, and I'm a happy camper 🙂
The only one I haven't taken a pic of is the 2-year old Zamia pica variegata...it's been slow to respond despite the same care as the others. But it'll come along (when IT'S ready, ha ha)...
I was really impressed with the size and mass of the root systems from Lori, especially the Spinulosum and the 3 year old Zamia vasquesii.

After reading what you all of done with your cycads, I am going out to get some manure and see if I can bring mine to life. Mine loooks sick and it is not growing. I planted it in a 75% sand and 25% compost mixture and it is not happy. I will post a picture later.

Wes, take a hand full (yes, sometimes a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do) and evenly spread it out around the plant. Then water in good. If it is in a pot, make sure you water it well outside (I know the plant probably IS outside but I thought I better warn you) as there will be A LOT of urine come out the bottom of the pot. After the really soaking watering, then every day water it well again. Also, if you have old leaves and are thinking about cutting them off, do it, but if you don't, don't worry about it. However, cutting the old leaves WILL quicken the flush a lot.
I know with my large Taitungensis, if you cut the existing leaves off, you will have a new flush in 21 days. It all depends on what you want, a full sago that is short with lots of leaves, or a taller sago with more trunk but less leaves.
But do me a favor if you do the manure thing, please keep us posted on what your finding.
I might add that the cutting of old flush to quicken the new one is not proven, thats just my opinion.
Thanks,
I will try what you have recommended. I willing to try it because it just doesn't look good.
It is planted in the ground so I will just add around the plant.
Thanks, I will keep you posted.

Wes, (North Van) If you have one of those moisture meters, sink it in to the root zone and see what it says. ( Might be a good idea to rule out the possibility that it is sitting damp or dry before adding anything else.)
What kind is it?

Did you ever get a final ID on that one, Steve?
Zamia vasquezii (3 yrs old, Lori's).
Two leaves flushed (the newest one has five blades, the other--a very small leaf beneath the new one--had six). The pic of the little leaf was too fuzzy to load.
I love cycad leaves, they're so distinctive with their tiny armour points.
