Interesting how varities of plants can still be found in this day and age.

This is an interesting article, but it fails to state that the species was first discovered and named more than 100 years ago. Zamia tuerckheimii is an under-appreciated species in cultivation, but it is still quite rare and, as a result, quite expensive. I believe Chamaedorea tuerckheimii was also described by Hans Von Turckheim?
Z.tuerckheimii and C. tuerckheimii are two I hope for a chance to grow some day 😀

Actually, neither species was described by Von Türckheim; rather, they were described in honor of him.
