I was just looking in my greenhouse and I am continually amazed at teh growth rate and Hardiness of these seedlings. 2 months ago I got 4 seeds from Mr. Robert Chumley of this cross between Guizhouensis X Taitungensis.
In one month 2 seeds have one leaf and the other 2 seeds have two leafs. Which tells me that the Taitungensis side is really active in these. But then we experienced 2 days last month of 18 degrees F.I lost my two Japanese Maples and other trees. However, these seedlings just kept growing thru it. This tells me that the Guizhouensis side is also active.
Anybody else have these and can report there findings?
