Now open after a restoration to make it safe for the public to visit.

The tunnel was constructed largely by hand in 1913-1914 for the Kettle Valley Rail system.

Located above Naramata BC Canada.

The tunnel is 483 meters long and has lights activated when you walk through the tunnel. Also has some cool train sounds for the full experience. There are a couple close parking areas. One is right by the tunnel and the other is about a 10 minute walk. You can also bike there from any of the parking areas along the KVR.

Here's a few pictures of the Adra Tunnel. Enjoy. :)

I parked at the Goat's Peak area and walked up the road towards Peachland BC.

It's a 7 km trek to the Peachland area. The trail is new and officially opened this June 2025.

I walked for about 2 km and then turned around. One day I will walk the entire 14 km round trip. excellent for biking, especially if you have a ebike because as you can see from the pictures it's all uphill and the way back to the parking lot.

The views of Okanagan Lake are breath taking! Beautiful scenery!

If your thinking about hitting the trail I would highly recommend it. :)
