I am very excited that my Sabal Louisiana is once again sending up a flower stalk. The last time she bloomed was 3 years ago when I planted her. At that time I figured it was nice that she bloomed but I wasn't too impressed because it's not like she had been living here. Well, now, after two winters (the coldest and the warmest on record around here at least in my lifetime) she's blooming again.

When she bloomed the first time I figured the seeds she set were duds so I tossed them. However, it seems that two seeds escaped the trash and sprouted last summer. They are still alive so I included a picture of them too.

😀 Especially if you can leave them where they sprouted.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

I agree. They've been in that same spot since last summer but they were covered up in a pile of leaves over the winter. I doubt they would have survived exposed.
