Man, ive looked and looked. The only place that ive seen in canada that sells them is "Jurassic Nursery" in BC. SHe is on this site too, and has a really nice collection of "ancient" plants, like various cycads, ginkgo and ive seen wollomi pine (i looked last week and they were sold out).

Dont think Im saying you WONT find one in Ontario, just that ive never seen them for sale in my city, or online here.

You may have some luck checking on the National Geographic page. I think they sold some a few years ago.

Peace dude. Good luck.

Here's Lori Pickering's website at Jurassic Plants Nursery.
Maybe Lori has an Ontario contact.

I'd recommend passing on the National Geographic order.
Worst experience I've ever had ordering anything from anyone!

Wollemia nobilis has been propagated via tissue culture and should be widely available.

Absolutely bloody awful.

After being on an Australian nursery's "Wollemi list" for almost 2 years--while waiting for permission, plus the phyto--to export from AU, I finally said to hell with it and got onto NG's order.
NG said there were limited supplies (ya think?) and that shipments would be made on a first come, first served basis WHEN THEY BECAME AVAIL.
Waited and waited.
After about six months, I contacted them again to ask for status of my order.
They replied "cannot ship into Canada".

So I replied: "then why didn't you say that on NG's website".
i.e. hint: do some homework before you offer items for sale.
Turns out they didn't KNOW they couldn't ship Wollemis into Canada.

Long story short: After 4 years from the time I went onto AU nursery's list...I finally bought one from Lori Pickering at Jurassic Plants Nursery.

Needless to say I was madder than a snake before I contacted Lori.
Her shipping container/customer service/pricing were fabulous.

Would not know who to ask and the risk of being labeled an eccentric crank is too much. 😳

More seriously, it belongs to our plant service. They rotate stuff in and out. Good specimens, but the Wollemi caught me by surprise as I was just reading everyone's comments on them here.
